Summary
When opening Link Repair it detects which Office applications are installed on the same machine then disables settings for Office applications that are not installed.
Solution
If Link Repair incorrectly detects which Office applications are installed then it is possible to override the detection. Note: If the Link Repair detection is overridden and Office formats are selected in Settings but the appropriate Office application is not installed then errors will occur for that format.
To override the detection start Link Repair with the /override switch.
For example, run the following from a command prompt:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Vantage Softech\Link Repair.exe” /override
